Commission gives Reasoned Opinions on Belgium and Spain for infractions to free movement of persons

Brussels, 10/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to pursue Belgium and Spain for not observing rules on the free movement of persons in Belgium and Spain. The Commission is therefore going to address a formal demand, in the form of a Reasoned Opinion, to Belgium, so that it changes its administrative practices which fails to take into account the framework of the 1990 Directive on the right of residency for those not working, receiving resources coming from a third...
