Presidency initiative on exchange of information on terrorism: points of contact, cooperation with Europol and Eurojust

Brussels, 10/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The EU15 legal experts will discuss during their meeting on Thursday and Friday a proposal by the Spanish Presidency that is intended to strengthen information exchange on terrorism. This new proposal of decision specifies the commitment taken by the Fifteen in their common position of 27 December to avail themselves of the "broadest possible" police and judiciary assistance to "prevent and combat terrorism".
