ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) paper

The Swedish group SVENSKA CELLULOSA AKTIEBOLAGET has acquired the Italian tissue manufacturer CARTOINVEST for the sum of EUR 301 million. SCA considers that this operation, which does not relate to the cardboard business of CARTOINVEST, will make it the third largest tissue manufacturer in Italy while increasing from 30% to 35% its production capacity in this area in Europe.
