01/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - Flights by the Russian flag carrier Aeroflot to Europe will not be seriously affected by new European Union noise and pollution standards, a company spokeswomen said on Thursday. The tighter "Stage 3" noise and pollution standards come into force on 1 April. The spokeswoman told the Reuters press agency: "We will only fly Boeing 737s and 777s, Airbus 310s, Ilyushin II-96s and modified Tupolev TU-154-Ms to Europe".
