23/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Union Council has provided the green light to the signing of a trade agreement for textile products with the Democratic Republic of Laos. At the same time, the Fifteen approved the provisional implementation of the text, initialled in Brussels on 3 December of last year. It is thus "provisionally" that the agreement took effect on 1 January 2002.
