Brussels, 23/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The first meeting of the European Parliament's Foot and Mouth Committee (set up to examine how the disease was managed and the financial impact of the foot and mouth outbreak on the Community budget) will be held in Strasbourg at 19: 00 hrs on 4 February. The Committee will elect its own chairperson and the MEP who will draft the report and present it to Parliament.
