Community market reopens to most imports of Argentinean beef

Brussels, 16/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday evening, the Standing Veterinary Committee of the European Union (SVC) authorised reopening of the EU's market for almost all imports of Argentinean beef. From 1 February, imports towards the EU of deboned and maturated fresh bovine meat may resume for the whole of the country, except the provinces of La Pampa and Santiago del Estero.
