Strasbourg, 16/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Wednesday evening, no solution had yet been found to the problem of who is to chair the Social Affairs Committee - the Presidents of the political groups say it should go over to the Greens from the Socialists (see yesterday's EUROPE) and the Greens/EFA group has rejected the Socialists' offer to give the Greens the chair of the Culture and Women's Rights Committee instead so that the French Socialist Michel Rocard could continue as...
