ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) water

AMERICAN WATER WORKS which was recently bought up by Germany's RWE for $4.6 bn, has signed a deal with the second biggest US local telephone company CITIZEN COMMUNICATIONS, to buy up some of its water distribution business for $ 859 million in cash (plus $ 120 million in debt).
