- Slovenia: After the Austrian bank ERSTE BANK dropped out of the running, the Slovenian privatisation board decided to enter exclsuive negotiations with the Belgian bank KBC over the selling off of a 34% stake in NLB - NOVA LJUBLJANSKA BANKA. KBC hoped a deal could be struck by 1 March, but would not comment on the size of the bid it would be making. The Slovenian government will be selling off a further 14% of NLB to foreign investors but has not given any indication of the timeline. See...
