ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

The heavily endebted Dutch operator KPN is in the process of negotiating the sale of its stake in the Czech operator CTE - CESKY TELECOM. KPN and SWISSCOM (linked in the TELSOURCE consortium) hold 27% of CESKY TELECOM; KPN has its own 6.5% stake; and the remainder of the company is owned by the Czech government.
