ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

TELECOM ITALIA is to sell its 27% stake in the telecommunications holding AUNA to the SCH - SANTANDER CENTRAL HISPANO bank and the electricity companies ENDESA and UNION FENOSA, for the sum of EUR 2 billion. The three Spanish companies currently control about 56% of AUNA (10.9%for SCH, 28% for ENDESA and 17% for UNION FENOSA).
