The German group BAYER has announced reorganisation of its activities with the constitution of a holding that heads four legally independent subsidiaries from 1 January 2003. The subsidiaries will be specialised in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, agri-chemicals, and polymers. BAYER plans to find partners for its chemical sectors and also hopes to disinvest in activities that no longer fit in with its key businesses.
