Commission grants additional 2.5 million euro in aid to refugees in Serbia

Brussels12/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission decided to grant an additional 2.5 million euro in aid for some 375,000 refugees living in Serbia having come from Croatia and Bosnia. Channelled through Echo, the EU Humanitarian Aid Office, this financial assistance will enable NGOs to carry out the distribution of food assistance to the most vulnerable refugees in the course of the first part of winter.
