Brussels, 15/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to channel a further EUR 2 million in aid through its Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) to ensure the continuity of humanitarian operations in Southern Peru following the earthquake of 23 June 2001. This comes on top of the EUR 1.15 allocated in June to meet the immediate needs of the victims.
