ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) aluminium

America's ALCOA has announced the creation of a 50-50 joint-venture with ALUMUNIUM CORPORATION OF CHINA LIMITED (CHALCO), China's largest aluminium manufacturer, stipulating that it would have a stake of some 8% in the latter. The joint-venture will be located in Pingguo, one of the main and "most efficient" Chinese aluminium production sites.
