Informal Brussels meeting confirms desire to relaunch Barcelona Process - Progress expected in justice and home affairs - Economic impact of 11 September attacks

Brussels, 07/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The search for peace in the Middle-East occupied centre stage on the first day of the meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers from the countries taking part in the Barcelona Process (see above). Speaking to the media, the President of the EU Council of Ministers, Louis Michel, stressed that one aspect of the original Euro-Mediterranean process was designed to contribute to peace in the Middle-East.
