Luxembourg, 30/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - All the issues on the agenda of Monday's Environment Council were treated successfully, to the great satisfaction of its president, Magda Alvoet. In addition to their lengthy debate on the labelling and traceability of food based on or derived from GMOs (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.10), the ministers reached several political agreements.
