Commission prepares procedure against France following signing of new Open Sky Agreement

Brussels, 23/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is preparing an infringement procedure against France, following the signing of a new "Open Sky" Agreement between Paris and Washington on 19 October, the spokesperson for the Commissioner for Transport, Loyola de Palacio said on Tuesday. The United Kingdom was also to sign a new "Open Sky" Agreement with the United States, replacing the Bermuda II Agreement in force, says the Financial Times.
