23/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - After meeting Yasser Arafat in Gaza on Monday, the High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, said that the President of the Palestinian Authority had given him guarantees about his desire for peace in the Middle East and the ceasefire. Mr Arafat said that the Palestinian Authority would continue to arrest all those who broke the ceasefire.
