Brussels, 18/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Belgian Presidency has convened a meeting of Foreign Ministers on Saturday 20 October, the extended "European Conference" of the Foreign Ministers from the fifteen EU Member States, the thirteen candidate countries (the twelve countries currently negotiations with the EU, along with Turkey), the EFTA countries (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and countries from the stabilisation and association process (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia). Since the only subject on the agenda will be the war on terrorism, the Belgian Presidency has also invited Russia, the Ukraine and Moldavia to participate on a one off basis, with their representatives also being invited to the working dinner, which will also be given over to combating terrorism.
