Brussels, 10/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - Thanks to the Commission's approval of the EP's budgets on Wednesday, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Ireland will receive a total of EUR 400 million from the 2001 budget to cover part of the indemnities paid to farmers that had to slaughter their herd because of foot and mouth disease.
