Strasbourg, 04/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - Giving its opinion on Thursday morning according to emergency procedure on the draft regulation presented by the Commission on freezing the financial assets of "certain persons and entities with a view to combating international terrorism", the European Parliament approved the Commission's proposal (by 417 to 44 and 18 abstentions).
