ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

The French insurance group AGF (German group ALLIANZ) is to sell its Brazilian banking subsidiary BANCO AGF BRASEG to the French bank CREDIT LYONNAIS. The terms of the transaction have not been revealed. The agreement, clinched between AGF DO BRASIL, 100% AGF subsidiary, and REDIT LYONNAIS, moreover, comprises the sale of two subsidiaries of BANCO AGF BRASEG, which are AGF TRADING and BRASEG OVERSEAS BANK LTD.
