In partnership with the company KROLL (Risk Consulting Company) and the French business movement (Medef), the French daily Les Echos is organising a conference on 3 October on "economic intelligence" entitled "Competitive and Strategic Analysis: which process to ensure competitiveness?". Economic intelligence is defined as a discipline encompassing research, the treatment and distribution of information useful for economic players. The aim of this conference will be more specifically to make an assessment of the latest developments in economic intelligence and examine the contribution of competitive and strategic analysis in ensuring a company's future. It will try to put across in a concrete manner the contribution the approach of a well controlled competitive and strategic analysis can provide, set out the tools, methods and best practice so as to answer the questions of company bosses, strategy and marketing managers and company economists on evolutions in practices.
