According to Nihon Keizai Shimbun, VODAFONE is seeking to take control of JAPAN TELECOM. The British group, that already has a 45% stake in this Japanese operator would like a 66.7% stake, operation that would enable it no longer to have to face a possible minority block. The operation would cost VODAFONE 220 bn yen.
