Brussels, 31/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to allocate 3.3 million euro in additional humanitarian aid for Serbia. This sum will serve to provide hot meals to 59,000 people over three months, the Commission stipulates in a press release. It comes on top of the 34.4 million euro in humanitarian aid for Serbia already in the Community budget. The aid, managed by the European humanitarian office, Echo, will be distributed by the German Red Cross.
