General Vankeirsblick chairs Military Committee

Brussels, 30/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - Since last week, the new Chair of the European Union's Military committee has been Lieutenant-General Marc Vankeirsblick, who was so far Chef de Cabinet of Belgian Defence Minister Andre Flahaut. General Vankeirsblick was also a member of the Cabinet of Jean-Pol Poncelet, Flahaut's predecessor, and Belgian Advisor to NATO.
