30/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission adopted a humanitarian aid programme of EUR 10 million for Tajikistan. This aid will be managed by the European humanitarian aid office ECHO and provided throughout 2001, through the intermediary of organisations present on the ground. Since 1992, ECHO has brought EUR 122 million to Tajikistan.
