The Swiss group SULZER announced the sale of its division SULZER TEXTIL (turnover of EUR 440 million in 2000 with 1,850 employees) to the Italian company PROMATECH for a total that has not been divulged, but which should be set at between ITL 200 and 300 million according to sources close to the dossier.
