According to the Handelsblatt, the German PREUSSAG group could within a few months take a majority of the capital in the French NOUVELLES FRONTIERES in which it presently holds 13%. After the initial plan, it was foreseen that PREUSSAG hold 34% by March 2002. This ceiling should be broken faster than foreseen, while the German could hold most of the capital by the beginning of next year. See EI of 12 October.
