DEUTSCHE TELEKOM has just sold the 100% stake it had in six of its nine regional cable networks to the American LIBERTY MEDIA. Under the terms of the agreement, LIBERTY MEDIA, cable television subsidiary of the American telecommunications group AT&T will also take over the activities of DEUTSCHE TELEKOM KABELSERVICES GMBH and MEDIASERVICES GMBH in the six regions. The American should pay between 5 and 5.5 bn euro for this acquisition.
