01/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission published in the OJ C149 (19 May) its draft Communication concerning agreements of minor importance, which do not noticeably restrict competition ("de minimis" Communication"). This draft (which EUROPE outlined the main element in its edition of 17 May, p.15) has as aim to lighten the work of the Directorate General competition, by providing it with the means to deepen the study of the most complex cases.
