AVENTIS CROPSCIENCE, the agrochemical arm of the French-German pharmaceuticals group AVENTIS, has taken over control of the phytosanitary branch of its partner SHIONOGI. The two groups will pool their activities in Japan within a common subsidiary called AVENTIS CROPSCIENCE SHIONOGI KK, of which AVENTIS will hold 66% and SHIONOGI 34%.
