Brussels, 22/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Brazilian Minister for Agriculture, Marcus Vinicuis Pratini de Moraes, called on the European Commission to put pressure on the United Kingdom for it to lift the total embargo on Brazilian beef, decreed after the discovery of 450 cases of foot and mouth in southern Brazil.
