Future Belgian and Spanish Presidencies get together

Madrid, 10/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - Following talks with his Belgian counterpart, Andre Flahaut, Spanish Defence Minister Frederico Trillo announced in Madrid on Wednesday that he had concluded an "memorandum of understanding" with the former over the future Belgian and Spanish Presidencies of the Council of the European Union (in the second half of 2001 and the first half of 2002).
