The general public electronics group TMM - THOMSON MULTIMEDIA has signed an agreement with the Dutch giant PHILIPS to take over its CONTENT CREATION business, thereby strengthening its BROADCASTING branch. This purchase follows the acquisition by THOMSON MULTIMEDIA of PHILIP's DIGITAL BROADCAST business in March. CONTENT CREATION develops equipment for broadcasting centres and editing equipment, notably for television news broadcasts, and employs 47 people in the United States.
