France's OREAL has paid an undisclosed amount the American group BIOMEDIC (health care products for dermatological operations and plastic surgery: turnover equivalent to 14 million euro in 2000). The company's development will be assured by LA ROCHE POSAY, OREAL's "active cosmetics" business with a turnover of 574 million euro in 2000.
