10/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - Ethics, globalisation and voluntary help where at the heart of the 5th conference of European Ministers responsible for Cultural heritage, organised in April in Portoroz (Slovenia) by the Slovenian Minister for Culture and the Council of Europe. The participating countries have adopted resolution, in which they draw particular attention for the public and economic decision-makers over the "central role of safeguard and the promotion of cultural heritage" and call for the "permanent creation of the European network for heritage in the framework of the Council of Europe".
