GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/belgian presidency

23/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - In view of preparing a Belgian Presidency which it wants ambitious in the social and trade union area, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and its Belgian affiliates CSC/ACV (Christian trade unions) and FGTB/ABVV (general federation of workers in Belgium) have presented on 23 April to the press in Brussels their "Trade Union Memorandum for the Belgian Presidency of the EU". EUROPE will return to this.
