Malmö, 23/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The EU finance ministers at their meeting on Saturday with the central bank governors reaffirmed the confidence that they have in the European Union's economy. They did not, however, hide their uncertainty about the slowdown in the world economy. Ecofin Council President Bosse Ringholm confirmed during a press conference the "realistic optimism" of ministers regarding the European economy - an optimism expressed by the twelve Europgroup members the day...
