Brussels, 12/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - At the conciliation meeting hold on 10 April in Brussels, the Council and the European Parliament still had fundamental disagreements over the Directive setting out "follow-on rights" for artists when their works are sold on.
When it adopted the report by the German Christian Democrat Jürgen Zimmerling on 13 December 2000, the European Parliament made 13 amendments to the common position drawn up by the Council in June (see EUROPE of 21 June 2000)....
