THE DAY IN POLITICS / (eu) ep/death penalty

12/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - On the initiative of the Association "Together against the death penalty", chaired by Michel Taube, will take place, from 21 to 23 June in Strasbourg, the first world congress against the death penalty. Notably present will be the EP Presidents and the President of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, Nicole Fontaine and Russell Johnston, and the Presidents of the French, German and Italian parliaments.
