12/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner, Michel Barnier, responsible for Regional Policy, will be in Italy (in Calabria) on 19 and 20 June. Mr Barnier will, in particular, get aquatinted with the forecasts for growth for the port of Gioia Tauro, he will visit Lamezia Terme, and he will meet the Giunta regionale of Calabria as well as Mr Chiarvallotti, President of the Calabria region, and Mr Caligiuri, President of the regional council.
