06/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the International Women's Day, on Thursday 8 March, the Mayor of Brussels and former Euro-MP Freddy Thielemans will hold a press conference at the town hall. During this conference they will welcome Philippe Busquin, European Research Commissioner, who will present his project "Women and Science: Mobilising Women to Enhance European Research"; and Laurette Onkelinkx, Belgian Minister for Employment and Equal Opportunities.
