Lamy meets new US Administration

Brussels, 06/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday and Friday, Commissioner Pascal Lamy will be in Washington for a first contact with the members of the new Bush Administration. While there he will also meet Members of Congress, in the context of the strategy that consists of better explaining the EU's trade positions. (See EUROPE of 3 March, p.8, on the EU/US ministerial meeting on Tuesday).
