Strasbourg, 15/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - Consulted on first reading (co-decision procedure) on the proposal relating to the evaluation and assessment of ambient noise, the European Parliament confirmed a large part of the 36 amendments adopted by the Committee on the Environment during its vote on the Alexander de Roo Report (Dutch Green) aimed as strengthening the future framework-directive.
