15/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - During the vote on the 2001 budget, the European Parliament allocated to the Media + programme EUR 61 million for the development of the audiovisual industry and EUR 19 million for training. By approving these credits, the EP enshrines the agreement reached in the Culture Council on 23 November over the Media + programme (EUR 400 million over five years).
