Brussels, 08/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EU negotiations with Norway over the possibility of fishing concerning the seven common stocks in the North Sea agreed on a 50% reduction in catches of Cod whose Total Allowable Catches (TAC) will fall from 81,000 tonnes in 2000 to 48,000 tonnes next year, with 8,260 tonnes for Norway and 40,340 tonnes for the European Community.
