Commission authorises Deutsche Bank and DBG to acquire Varta (batteries)

Brussels, 08/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission gave its go ahead to the operation according to which Deutsche Bank and DBG Vermogensverwaltungsgesellschaft GmbH will acquire the joint control of the totality of Varta AG. Given that the parties are not even present in the same sectors of activities (Deutsche Bank is present in the retail baking and business banking services, DBG exercises management activities, and the sale of stake in companies and Varta manufactures and markets...
